This month, we welcome presenters from the New Mexico Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club Albuquerque. The motorcycle club rides not just for fun, but also for a cause as they educate the general public on the rich history and legacy of the 9th and 10th Cavalry of the Buffalo Soldiers, African American regiments which mainly served on the Western frontier following the American Civil War. The club is also committed to the local community through a variety of service activities.

Brandon Demetrius, Vice President, and Rene Matison, Business Manager, will discuss the history of Buffalo Soldiers from 1866-1900, including the 9th and 10th Cavalry, Buffalo Soldiers in New Mexico, and Buffalo Soldier Medal of Honor recipients.
